The site of the 1996 Midwest Regional Animal Behavior Society
Conference is the Indiana Memorial Union
(IMU). The conference is entirely contained within the IMU: Paper
presentations will be held in the Frangipani Room and Oak Room,
Poster presentations will be held in the Georgian Room, the banquet
dinner will be held in the Solarium, the keynote address will be in
the Frangipani Room, and the NSF Workshop will be in the Oak Room.
The IMU hotel and dining facilities are also contained within the
union building.
Kirkwood Avenue, going west a few blocks away from campus, leads to
the Courthouse Square, downtown Bloomington. Located on this street
are many restaurants convienent to conference-goers. Along
Kirkwood and downtown on the square are bookstores, various shops,
bars, movie theaters, churches, and the Bloomington public
library.
